The Artist
Hi there! My name is Jessie Matilda Hurrelbrink. I have lived in Whatcom County my whole life. I have several passions; enjoying the outdoors, taking photos of the brilliant beauty that this county holds, drawing, fishing with my husband and son, and playing in the snow! I love to capture vibrant colors in the sky when the sun rises and falls. Traveling is something I don't get to do much of, but when I do, I make sure every captivating view I see is documented.
I am new to acrylic painting, but I do have years of personal experience as a pencil artist. I did not receive training for my talent; it is a gift passed down. My Great Grandma Collins, was a wonderful painter. She was clever and a perfectionist. I only hope to one day be as good as she was.

I have recently taken up crocheting as a hobby (along with painting). I have been dealing with a very serious and unknown brain disorder that has kept me home since summer 2016.
